Kolb Studio

Kolb Studio is the former home and photography studio of Ellsworth and Emery Kolb, early Grand Canyon entrepreneurs who built, lived and worked in this amazing 1904 Victorian era building perched on the very edge of the rim.

Their entrepreneurial spirit and sense of adventure as pioneering photographers and filmmakers helped shape the visitor experience of Grand Canyon for nearly a century.

The studio showcases the Kolb Brothers Exhibit and the annual Grand Canyon Celebration of Art exhibit.

Kolb Studio is located in the Village Historic District.

The Bright Angel trailhead is close by.

The Original Movie Projector. You can still watch the movie
that has played continuously for over 60 years.
